Ms. Eve Sigfrid CPA, CMA

Ms. Eve Sigfrid believes in the social economic well being of the community and in helping others achieve their financial well being. Ms. Sigfrid has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years in various capacities.  Ms. Sigfrid was the Vice president and Chief financial Officer of four wineries in the Niagara Peninsula. During her tenure with the wineries, Ms. Sigfrid served on the Board of FirstOntario Credit Union and the Board of Credit Union Central of Ontario prior to its merger with BC Central.

Ms. Sigfrid is a graduate of the Leadership Windsor-Essex program.
Ms. Sigfrid has been actively involved with the Canadian Cooperative Association through their Women’s’ mentoring program and the Mentoring and Coaching program in Uganda.
Ms. Sigfrid is active in the community and sits on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex, a member of the Election Audit Committee for the Town of Essex, a past member of the Election Audit committee for the Town of Amherstburg and a member of the Women’s Shelter Building Relocation Committee.
Ms. Sigfrid graduated with her CPA, CMA designation in 1992.

Rebecca Martyn, CGA, CPA, CIRP, LIT

Rebecca brings more than 20 years of experience to the region as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, certified Insolvency Counsellor and Chartered Professional Accountant. She earned her CGA, CPA in 2000, her CIRP (Chartered Insolvency Restructuring Professional) in 2003 and her LIT (Licensed Insolvency Trustee) in 2003.

Rebecca relocated to Windsor in 2000 from London, Ontario and joined Hoyes, Michalos & Associates in 2003 after working for a large international accounting firm. Rebecca is a passionate advocate for those experiencing debt problems and tirelessly works to ensure that people find the right solution to their financial problems. As a recognized expert in her field, she regularly shares her knowledge and expertise online and in the media.

Focused on providing a custom-tailored plan to deal with debt, Rebecca takes pride in meeting the needs of her clients and educating them on the possibilities available to deal with their specific financial situation.

Beyond working with clients, Rebecca supports a number of local events and sport teams. She enjoys attending her son’s hockey, soccer, swimming and karate events. An avid Disney fan, she enjoys spending time with her family at the various Walt Disney properties.

Vian is the branch manager for RBC at Dougall and Cabana, where she has been leading a top performing team of advisors. She has over 10 years working in leading financial institutions in the Windsor-Essex region. Vian started her career as a financial advisor where she helped countless clients achieve their goals, whether it was to pursue higher education, buy their first home, or even to plan for that dream vacation. Shortly after, Vian found a passion in leadership where she started her career in management. She has successfully led numerous branches to achieve top results nationally, and was directly responsible for the development of several employees under her leadership. Vian has found her passion by helping others achieve theirs. Through her leadership, she has also been awarded quarterly and annual awards for top performance in every management role she has been in. Aside from her professional life, Vian has two wonderful girls, Amelia and Alexis, as well as a loving husband of 11 years, Steve. She enjoys teaching her young girls the importance of being financially prudent and how to be persistent as a woman in leadership.

Ann is a graduate from the University of Windsor and is employed with BMO Bank of Montreal as Branch Manager . She believes WEST serves as a great resource and necessity for newly immigrated women into understanding and becoming confident women entering the Canadian Workforce. Coming from a family who immigrated into Canada over 40 years ago; she understands and values the commitment and dedication new immigrants carry into Canada to establish a livelihood for themselves and their families. In addition to her Board position at WEST; Ann is active in promoting and teaching financial literacy to youth and strong advocate of children with intellectual disabilities.
